I still remember the joy and hope I felt when I made my seed order list and garden plans back in January. Don't you just love making garden plans? Here now is the score card for how those seeds performed, and a garden recap for my first growing season back on the prairies. I did get a reply - it was very curt and seemed snippy - they basically said I would get my receipt when my order is sent. I called them because that wasn't acceptable to me. I said I needed to have a receipt because they had my credit card information - I had basically paid for goods and was given absolutely nothing. I was laughed and not in a nice way - it was as if I were an idiot at and told "that's not my procedure" and "you'll get your receipt when you get your shipment". And the attitude on these people was shocking to me. I said if that was their "procedure" then I wanted to have the entire order cancelled. Through all of this I remained calm and extremely polite. I said I was not happy with the way they were conducting business with me and that I felt disrespected. I was snapped at, and even shouted at, and spoken to as if I was not only stupid, but being unreasonable. I have no idea what is wrong with these people, but they are unprofessional and beyond rude. I then placed my order with Vesseys and Henry Fields with no problems at all. I received my confirmations immediately, and my reciepts immediately. I have always gone with Thompson and Morgan, Vesseys, and Henry Fields in the past and have always received wonderful and professional service, wonderful goods, and treated very respectfully.

Let the posts come to you. Ordered seeds and dahlia tubers - the seeds were ok, the dahlias were a big disappointment - the smallest tubers I have ever seen, 2 refused to grow at all, and 2 t&t seeds still, at the end of the season, only about 18" with no blooms, t&t seeds.

They were being asked to do something they considered quite unnecessary when they were very busy taking and processing many people's orders. This plant was flowering, thriving, fruiting, lots of eggplants on it. My mother will get either a call or letter about an appointment in the city to see a specialist, and the wait should not be long.
