Fans were aghast as former EastEnders actress Ann Mitchell was on today's Cora cross eastenders, with some stunned at how different she was in real life to her fiery soap character.

Cora returns months after the wedding as she can no longer handle her abusive neighbours and asks to stay with Tanya for a few days. Tanya lets her stay longer and Cora eventually reveals she has been evicted from her home because her neighbour has an ASBO , but when Cora, Tanya and Rainie return there to empty the house, the neighbour reveals that Cora is the one with the ASBO. Dot later kicks Cora out for laughing at her and using language that Dot dislikes. Tanya then lets Cora stay with her.

Ann Mitchell born 22 April is a British stage and television actress. She came to prominence in the s when she starred as Dolly Rawlins in the crime series Widows as well as the sequels Widows 2 and She's Out , all written by Lynda La Plante.
