Decades after the sudden birth of a new continent, a young rescuer-for-hire provides aid to adventurers exploring this dangerous, uncharted world. A terminally ill boy asks Inyo to help him find his brother, who went missing in Magmell while searching for a rare fruit with strengthening powers. Inyo turns a young woman named Emilia down when she asks him to rescue her father, but he changes his mind when she brings up the name of his mentor. To reconcile his past and find his old friends, a rich gentleman asks Inyo to lead him back to the dangerous district in Magmell where he once lived. A woman heralded as a saint for her philanthropic work goes missing inside Magmell. The townspeople ask Inyo to rescue her, but he refuses.

Also known as Magmel of the Sea Blue , this fantastical sci-fi saga is from longstanding animation house Pierrot Naruto , Yu Yu Hakusho and veteran director Hayato Date, and lays out a compelling concept: what if Earth suddenly spawned an eighth continent? Opening Shot: Earth, spinning in space. Voiceover: Thirty-five years ago, a brand new continent appeared out of thin air. The Gist: What happens when a giant landmass suddenly shpladoinks into existence smack in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? Humans try to exploit it, of course. Easier said than done: Magmell is a lush, dense jungle populated with crazy creatures all too eager to eat you, which makes exploring the land for resources rather treacherous. When I first saw the cover and read the synopsis, I was excited, because this gave me a Hunter x Hunter vibe. The main character and his loli partner show potential early on but then show their true colors a few episodes in by harassing an innocent store clerk for shits and giggles. How did this even make it past the publishers? Seems like writer lost his ideas around episodes 6, but still next 4 episodes were decent enought. Despite this red flag I decide to keep going. I first started watching this show because of the first scene having a character that looks like killua and i thought he was the main character , and that its gonna be HxH rip off, i mean the plot kind of reminds you of HxH but with a more "moral" MC, the first episode started very well , there is suspence , mystery a twist everything was great , i felt like this is gonna be the best show ever , but then the 2nd episode came out and oh boy i was disppointed, too much exposition , like half the episode was exposition, the Like I said before, I have no investment in the main characters since there is minimal interaction or development among them.
