Founded in at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, Delta Zeta strives to join its members in a strong sisterhood while stressing individuality and personal development. Delta Zeta members believe in the value of service and leadership and are actively involved both on uga delta zeta house and in the community. From the Miss UGA Pageant to mentoring in local schools, members possess diverse interests and are involved in a wide range of organizations.

Self, Ashley and Ford are some of the 19 house directors of UGA's Panhellenic sororities, all of which have a house dedicated to housing members, hosting events and chapter meetings, and providing a space for the members to eat and work. As director, she maintains the sorority's facilities and acts as a calm and stable role model for all of its members. Jane Self, the house director of Alpha Omicron Pi, is considered an 'at college' mom for many of the sorority's members. Anna Farley, a sophomore nursing major and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, felt comfortable moving into her sorority house last semester partly because of how welcoming her house director, Jane Self, was. On the day they moved in, Self sat with them in their chapter room answering all of their questions and telling them her life story.

Hot PC this year, really nice girls who are fun but seem to take sisterhood seriously. Like to party and you'll see big groups out almost every night. Great sisterhood too. Pc 23 are all super rude girls. Other years, dz girls have usually been sweet girls who like to have fun but they did something wrong this year. Always a good time at our frat socials and are honestly known for being a fun party sorority. Pc 23 hot af. They are fun and easy to talk to or at least the ones I've met. On the come up again for sure. These girls r lowkey ratchet af. DZ is known to be a very fun and social sorority with one of the best sisterhoods.
