This process brought various primary and specialty care services into the midtown location, bringing adult and pediatric primary care together in one convenient facility for patients who live and work in the downtown Sacramento area. Located in an existing East Sacramento neighborhood, the Midtown Clinic provides ready alternative transportation access to patients, with five bus routes located within a quarter mile. The location also makes available readily-walkable connectivity to a wide array of local businesses for its employees. LEDs were used throughout the building where new lighting was installed. Key components in enhancing the patient experience, low-emitting materials were used throughout the project, including adhesives, coatings, and flooring systems. Patient room cabinetry and similar were constructed of materials containing no added urea-formaldehyde resins.
