Skyrim pieces of the past

Silus Vesuius, the owner of a museum dedicated to the Mythic Dawn cult, wants to hire me for a job. He'll give me the details inside his house in Dawnstar, skyrim pieces of the past. Silus Vesuiusa devotee of The Mythic Dawn cult, asks the Dragonborn to retrieve the separated pieces of a dagger named Mehrunes' Razor that once belonged to his family. To start the quest, the Dragonborn must be at least level 20 and get an invitation to Silus' Mythic Dawn Museum in Dawnstar.

Daedric Artifacts are some of the strongest items in The Elder Scrolls franchise. These items have unique properties that are absurdly strong, ranging from unbreakable soul gems to weapons that instantly kill enemies. That second trait belongs to Mehrunes' Razor, arguably one of the best daggers in Skyrim. It can be obtained from the "Pieces of the Past" quest. Players will have to explore the far reaches of Skyrim to find all three pieces and, with the help of Mehrunes Dagon, reforge the blade.

Sometime after you reach level 20, a courier will deliver to you the Dawnstar museum pamphlet , announcing the opening of the museum and noting that admission is free. This activates the miscellaneous quest, "Visit the museum in Dawnstar". Alternatively, at or above level 20, you may initiate this quest by speaking to Silus Vesuius outside his home in Dawnstar. Travel to Dawnstar and go to Silus Vesuius's house , only to hear the house owner and Dawnstar's court wizard , Madena , arguing:. Madena : "Your ancestors wouldn't want this, Silus! This is my family's legacy! Dead oaths on dead lips. Let it stay there. You may talk to Madena for a concise history on Silus' family or ignore her and speak to Silus, who will warmly welcome you and offer you a tour of the museum, after which he will ask you to retrieve the three pieces of Mehrunes' Razor. If you accept, he will give you The Keepers of the Razor which contains his notes about the Razor, including information on the locations of the pieces. The quest will initiate in your journal and the location for each piece will appear on your map.

When the pieces are brought back to Silus and he leaves the museum, rarely, he will fly across the lake of the town and directly to the shrine instead of walking to it.

I'm sorry but it's just a game a man that would get sad because they would kill an imaginary character from a game most likely as no manhood you should have killed him you would have gotten the dagger out of the quest and the key inside where you would have gotten 2 more daedra hearts and a handful of ebony ingots and a few ebony ores. Risk, I think you may have misunderstood the point of this blog. I am well aware that Skyrim is "just a game"; that fact is precisely the reason the game works so well as an opportunity for moral engagement. The lack of real-world consequences allows the player if he or she so chooses to explore different and conflicting ethical paradigms in a virtual setting. My blog is merely meant as a record of my own experiences as I attempt to play a character with a coherent ethos.

Once you reach level 20 a courier will deliver an invitation to visit the museum in Dawnstar. Journey to the museum and speak to Silas Vesuius , the curator, to activate the mission. He requests your aid in the recovery of three long-lost fragments of a Dagon artifact called Mehrunes Razor , and he will pay handsomely for their recovery. The locations of the artifact's hilt, pommel and blade shards will be indicated by three markers on the map. The pommel is located at the marker west of Markarth. Reaching the remote site requires skirting the mountains west of Markarth. Start east on the cobblestone road from Markarth Stables , going clockwise around the mountain, veering south and going west on the dirt trail near the three large trees. This route will traverse rough terrain as you head for the marker. This will lead to Hag Rock Redoubt where hostile Forsworn will challenge your way through the scattered ruins as you approach the marker at Hag Rock Redoubt Ruins. Enter the ruins and, advance silently and kill the two Forsworn seated in the well-lit dining room.

Take the Soul Gem to stop it. She will be surrounded and guarded by Forsworn and three fire traps. The Razor is forever out of my grasp. So yeah, hope that helps. Was this guide helpful? There is a mythic dawn museum in Dawnstar and he will be standing outside in front of the museum. Save when you get there. However, Silus will not say anything and if he is killed the quest fails. Her corpse will have the pommel for Mehrunes' Razor. Helping Silus throughout the whole quest will give you a healthy sum of Gold. There are two difficult routes through Hag Rock Redoubt. Because she is dead and can't be killed again, the quest can't be completed. As a stormcloak general, when Dagon asked me to kill Silus, I did it and retrieved the weapon, but in the next dialogue option when Dagon said "use my weapon to wreak havoc" or something along those lines, I responded with "I will use it however i please, Dagon". Take the right dirt path.

Head into his house to unlock the chest containing the hilt. It may require luck, patience and persistence to find a way up and over that lands you in a position from which you can see and kill one or more guards below. This allows you to obtain the shards without the use of a Telekinesis spell or being damaged by the traps. I used the key, entered the shrine, killed the additional Dremora, and looted everything. You will see part of Hag Rock Redoubt on the far western side. After you reach level 20, a courier will deliver an invitation to visit a new museum in Dawnstar. Ghunzul has the shards in the Cracked Tusk Keep straight west of Falkreath. Purposely waiting is like indirectly instigating. Continue upwards to the pinnacle of the ruin, where Drascua , the ruin's hagraven leader, possesses the pommel. He'll give me the details inside his house in Dawnstar. Silus Vesuius is offering me gold to retrieve the three pieces of Mehrunes' Razor from their current owners.
