My son wants to take up alto sax. Is that a good instrument? He currently plays the clarinet with his High School band so he needs an intermediate instrument. He wants to eventually try out for Jazz Band. Would that be a good instrument for both concert and Jazz? I only played it for two years in middle school. It is in excellent condition, still shiny and looks great, only minor scratches, all the keys are in perfect working order. Case and neck strap are included. I have seen some as cheap as to but others as much as used. I am not sure how much to ask for it, as I do not want to rip anyone off or screw myself over.
