The series broadcasts weekly and has been offered for free viewing on V Live since and Weverse since In each episode, the band members play games or participate in a variety of activities that require them to complete challenges, and sometimes carry out secret missions, in order to earn prizes or receive punishments. Three seasons of the show, comprising episodes, have been released since it premiered on August 1, , with new episodes airing every Tuesday. On August 16, , a special episode—the first new episode following a month-long hiatus after season three ended in October —was released, and later uploaded to BTS' official YouTube channel. Since then, all episodes—new and old—have been made available on the platform. The series went on a year-long hiatus after the January 5, , episode.

W hen the web series Run BTS launched on Korean streaming service V Live in , the seven members of the South Korean pop band made lofty promises about what fans could expect from the variety show. The series, which is on hiatus after running for six years and more than episodes, has made good on those promises. From cooking to sports to time travel, here are nine episodes that encompass much of what Run BTS has to offer. All are available to watch for free on V Live. As one might expect from a group of seven young men whose adolescence was devoted to rigorous music and performance practice, not all the members of BTS can cook. V and RM, meanwhile, are a potential danger to themselves and others. Much of the entertainment of a Korean variety-show format comes from putting celebrities outside of their comfort zones and allowing them to laugh at themselves and each other. Watch it here.
