For both shoppers and vendors, the Royal Oak Antiques Market is the place to be every Sunday because of not only the items but the atmosphere and people you meet. Now here I am in her boots doing the same thing. I have so much fun with everyone. And we also have people who are collectors of high-end items and things like toys or specialty items. The market has become known for being very friendly and accommodating to vendors, from setup to take down to being reasonably priced and especially being available to offer any assistance before, during or after a show. Mazur says a third of the market are the weekly regular vendors, another third is vendors who work the market every other week and the final third are new vendors. Bill Meyers, who is currently one of the regular weekly vendors, is originally from Dearborn but has lived the past 40 years in California. He is back in Michigan temporarily and very happy to be back at the Royal Oak market.
