The food is good when we were there the Christmas decorations had just been taken down and the traditional Mexican decor was not put back up so, lacking authentic atmosphere. Also be sure to get bottled beverages as the water has strong chlorine bromine and fluoride taste this could be remedied by the admin installing a filtration system the taste of water just saying January Pretty classic American Mexican family restaurant. It's definitely a good pick for people driving through like me. It was the perfect spot to grab food and take a break on our 7 hour drive from Tahoe to Arcata. And even more perfect that we could meet our son who was driving South from Klamath falls on his way to Texas. The food was standard good American Mexican, fresh enough, tasty enouph, enough, nothing special but solidly good for an Americans taste buds. I recommend it
