The owners are great guys and the staff at the taproom are some of the best! Both were delicious and well portioned. Food was great, service was quick and friendly. I have never been disappointed. Today I had an amazing Saturday afternoon brunch. Folks should be lined out the door to experience the delicious coffee, incredible food and sweet atmosphere. The waiter we had was amazing. Kept our drink refills coming, and our food came out pretty quick as well.

A good menu selection was offered including a number of specials and we both ordered from the latter. The service, quality and quantity of the food was exceptional. Would visit again and reccomend. The chips were like reheats and the batter was orange rather than a nice golden brown. The Esplanade Hotel in Rothesay is a budget property with uncomplicated accommodations and an eatery that serves a traditional menu of Scottish pub dishes. Conference center. The establishment is well-known for its freshly made soup and home baked bread rolls, providing a delightful taste of local cuisine. Food was excellent! Breakfast was fresh and ready for us in the morning and they were even able to look after the vegan! The whole places looks run down and in desperate need of repair and a lot of TLC. Fantastic food. Centrally located in Rothesay near the castle. Is the place where the locals eat and recommend.
