We're happy to announce that all of our Build Guides are now found in the new Build Progression Tool! The Maxroll Build Progression tool helps you with the leveling experience from level 1 all the way through the campaign on your Twink Ranger build. Typically players respec their ranger twink leveling build over to the build of their choice once entering maps, or around level This is the level bracket which allows you to equip level 20 Skill Gems, as well as being able to equip most end-game gear. After completing the Campaign, there are three standard routes of leveling your character.

Raider and Pathfinder are quite good generalists that can be played in many ways, but the Deadeye is a class performing exceptionally well when combined with Projectile Skills, especially while wielding a Bow. This guide will cover all the basics for leveling with a Bow-wielding Ranger. It has high damage, excellent clear speed, and good mobility, but lacks any substantial defensive options. You'll be most likely relying on the physical distance between you and the enemy, and in case there are any ranged opponents, shoot first and dispose of them before they even appear on the screen. Any Bow Attack is suitable, but here we will use Elemental Damage ones, mostly because they're better for clearing and it's easier to gain more Damage this way than by being restricted only to Physical Damage. You will be able to set up additional Ballista Totems with the second setup. A Bow, much like Body Armour, offers another six sockets that can be linked and developed to accommodate a Ballista setup to help you fight bosses.

Setting up your controls so they are comfortable and limit repetitive stress injuries is important. Capped resistances are critical in Act 6 and beyond.

Ranger's Raider is the best example of a rapidly-moving-and-attacking character archetype - perfectly suited for farming, quickly progressing through a map, and one that's able to finish the leveling phase in no time. The Pathfinder sub-class also has some virtues, mostly Flask-related, and it's not as good as a Raider, but still decent. Wielding a Bow and using ranged attacks issue an immense advantage over melee characters as you won't have to approach enemies. This written guide is meant as a supplementary way to provide notes about all the gem setups which you can look up at any time.
