For those who travel from Bangkok to Pak Chong, the best way is to travel by train. The buses and minivans tend to have inconsistent schedules. And they have the tendency to drop people at random spots throughout town, which has often caused problems for us when trying to locate our guests. The train is the most straight forward option. However, it has its downsides. There is only one small train station in Pak Chong, so that's easy. The first train from Bangkok should leave at about AM but always check current scheduling to verify!
