Normal Catacombs of Kourend. Bronze dragons are metallic dragons found deep within the Brimhaven Dungeon and the Catacombs of Kourend. They are the weakest of the six metallic dragons, but they still should not be underestimated. It is highly recommended to use an anti-dragon shield as otherwise these monsters can deal fatal damage via long-ranged dragonfire. Antifire potions are also recommended, and using both the shield and antifires will negate all dragonfire damage. With just one alone, some damage will be inflicted. It is the only metallic dragon that does not drop the very rare draconic visage. Due to that and their lackluster drops aside from the rare dragon platelegs or skirt , they are not as commonly killed as other dragons. If they are fought without complete dragonfire protection, it is recommended to stay in melee range and use Protect from Melee , to reduce the amount of dragonfire damage taken.

Metal dragons can be killed with all three combat styles. Although players can opt for better setups if maging , Void Mage can be used as well for accounts below 70 Defence. However, Ahrim's will prove to be better when players have level 70 Defence or higher. Although Melee is an efficient way of killing them especially with a Zamorakian hasta , which is the best stab weapon , use Proselyte armour for Prayer or high-tier armour , such as Bandos or Barrows equipment , for Defence. The Zamorakian hasta is the best choice followed by the Abyssal dagger , the Leaf-bladed sword and lastly followed by Dragon longsword set on stab. Using slash weapons , such as an Abyssal whip , is not recommended as the dragons would take longer to kill. As their Defence is extremely high, the higher the stab bonus the faster the kills will be, thus using less supplies.
