Setting out from the trailhead, the path enters under the thick canopy of the forest and follows closely alongside the flowing waters of the creek. As you make your way past moss-covered trees and other types of vegetation, you will feel the trail climb slightly uphill.

Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Lower portion of trail is paved, upper portion is dirt. Plenty of stairs between to cut it shorter or challenge yourself. Not well marked but we loved the hike! Some mud but not too bad.

Managed to get out in the fresh snow, and even for those who have done it before I would highly recommend giving it another go with it being a "white wonderland".
