No matter where we live in the world, it's worth the effort to spend time at Montecito in the summer. It was another absolutely wonderful family vacation - kids were kept active and busy all day by a tribe of young, fun, dynamic counselors archery, riflery, arts and crafts, photography, swimming, horse riding, hiking, biking, etc. Our kids have grown up at Montecito and we parents love every minute of every day with friends and family. If you desire more upscale lodging, we strongly recommend our newly-built Forest Cabins , which were architecturally designed to let the outdoors in, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows, private baths, and a deck. I was pleasantly surprised to see a great salad bar, tons of fruit. It is a unique place, and I hope everyone will experience it for themselves. At times of high-use, our Wi-Fi will be slower than most of our guests are used to at home.
