Chad also published a special 16 page supplement this week, looking back over the past 60 years of news, views and sport. It included an eight-page Retro, featuring a collection of old photographs from the Chad archives. And to celebrate the anniversary, former employees, readers and members of the public joined us at the Old Town Hall in Mansfield to have a look at our special photographic exhibition. What a brilliant record of the past and the present, recorded for the future. So good to see it on the ourmansfieldandarea web site, giving people far and wide an opportunity to learn about the CHAD.

St Chad's Church, 'the jewel of the Vale', lies in the secluded, peaceful setting of historic Pleasley Vale. We recently welcomed Andrew Porter as our new vicar along with his wife Cathy, who is also ordained, and his family.
