Lux sensor zigbee
Anyone got any recommendations for a zigbee lux sensor that I could use to better control lighting on overcast winter days? The Hue outdoor motion sensor reports lux and temperature.
As the title says. Are there any budget light lux sensors about 20 - 25 euros preferably zigbee that work locally on smartthings? The only lux sensor I know of that might have a local operation is the Sensative zwave strip. So not local at this time. The Aqara light sensor and the hue multi sensor are other zigbee multi sensors that work with smartthings, but also require custom code. An option… which I have used but not presently, is a basic external lux sensor, smart plug and an external led 10w light wired in. Lux meter trips at 70 lux, power sense smart plug detects current draw, you will need the led light wired into the lux sensor so power can be drawn.

They never dropped off. Only comparing it with a separate lux meter some while back I have readings indoors, lux sensor zigbee a wall illuminated by a window up to and over on very sunny days, my cut off value for turning the lights on is 5 and at night it goes down to 0. Any thoughts?

Can anyone recommend a ceiling mounted lux sensor, I've found this Xiaomi one but not sure if it is compatible. Some have them running, me included, and they work great. For others, not so much, YMMV. To use in conjunction with an Aqara motion detector for hallway motion lighting. The Aqara has lux but it is positioned in a dark corner so doesn't give a good representation. A dedicated lux sensor in the centre of my hall would be better. Have a look at the Philips indoor motion sensor, no reason it couldn't be mounted on the ceiling.

Is there any nice lux reading sensor for outdoors? I have a weather station that have almost everything but one thing it does not have is read how bright it is outside. I was thinking it can be fun to read Lux and maybe even UV. I have Mhz,Zigbee,Z-wave and wifi connect to my Home assistant. This gives a decent lux reading. ATG rooftop data washington. HA is awesome for integrating this DIY stuff. Personally I use a Zooz 4-in-1 ZWave sensor on my front porch. I have 2 of them : Hue Outdoor sensor Philips Hue philips-hue.

Personally I use a Zooz 4-in-1 ZWave sensor on my front porch. It works as I hoped it would. One failed after 8 months and iharyadi replaced it anyway, even though I told him I didn't feel he should. Since you both seem to have very different results I am wondering if the binding being used has an effect, possibly a transformation, on the values being reported.
