This exciting, family-friendly game follows Indy's adventures in the most recent film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , but also includes scenes from the first three movies that weren't covered in the first LEGO Indy game. The main focus is still on exploration, treasure hunting and artifact collecting—with a little light combat, LEGO style. Players can still adventure alone or with a buddy, but rather than taking a linear path through each story, the game has "hubs" based on the various films. Hello adventurer! We are petranat and CyberPunch83 , Canadian achievement hunters and couch co-op partners. Occasionally, we also run thru the 6ix with our woes. As we do here in the T. Anyways, we've played through a good majority of the Lego games, and we genuinely felt this was one of the best in the series. It's a fairly quick completion in comparison to some of the other games in the series. In fact, this game came out around the time that the Lego series was transitioning from hub-style games to the more open world style that we are familiar with today. The result is a semi-open hub world for each of the Indiana Jones movies with Crystal Skull being split into three parts, since it was new at the time this game was released. Free play levels and collectibles are replaced with hub collectibles which are generally speaking, less of a pain to collect than the typical collectibles in other Lego titles and Treasure and Bonus levels which are much shorter than the free play levels in the other games. All this results in a quicker completion time for you, but it also makes the game quite enjoyable, in our opinion.
