Wednesday night, Officers were dispatched to the area of North Grand Avenue and William Parkhurst Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officers found a vehicle that had flipped onto its roof. Both drivers and the second vehicle had left the area. No arrests have been made. Early Friday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West 16th Street and South Grand Avenue because the car was not properly registered.

In the late-night hours of March 16th, Sedalia Police observed a truck stopped at the stop light, headed southbound at the intersection of South Engineer Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard. The truck was stopped almost the entire truck length past the stop line. The truck turned eastbound on Broadway Boulevard, driving over the dashed line and slowly drifted into the outside lane without signaling. The driver was found to be intoxicated. Miller was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be processed before being released to a sober driver. Wednesday evening, Officers observed a truck disobey the stop sign located at South Grand Avenue and East 32nd Street.

This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department crime reports. Saturday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the block of East 17th Street in reference to a trespassing call. The caller stated a man was trying to enter her home and was making violent threats towards her and her husband. The caller provided Dispatch with a description of the suspect. Officers made contact with the suspect while en route to the call. Another Officer made contact with the reporting party, who wished to press charges for harassment. After a brief struggle, the suspect was placed in handcuffs and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Jeremy E. Pointer, 43, Homeless, was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Harassment in the 1st Degree and felony Resisting Arrest. Early Sunday morning, Officers observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on West 16th Street and South Limit Avenue that was failing to maintain its lane.
