This tool is super easy to use. Step 1 Download and install Epubor Ultimate on your computer. Get your DRM-free ePubs ready. Launch Epubor Ultimate, then drag and drop your ePubs to the right blank space of the software. Next, choose another output format in the drop-down menu, like AZW3. All valid epub readers successfully handle the de-obfuscation of fonts properly and internally. Trying to copy those fonts out of the epub they were intended for to use in some other epub is the only way you can cause an issue with auto obfuscation and de-obfuscation. Is that what you are trying to do?

I said this in my post which you might have missed. Removing obfuscation entirely seems to be the only way they show up in KDP Adobe and IDPF's obfuscation does not work , and keeping obfuscation falls back to their Baskerville font. D2D or Ingram that have issues of the fonts I embedded in my files. The readers, again especially Kindle, really want full control of font, size, spacing etc. And in Kindle, the fonts are irrelevant because the user can switch globally to any of the reader's base fonts. So, you don't need to be worried about any of this, you are making it far too complicated for what it is. If it exists, just send the epub. Surely they can only assume I have the legal rights to those fonts? You are best to create a separate mobi and KF8 then a dual-format file. Good luck to you. KDP University.
