Our beautiful domed Heritage Chapel in Five Points offers Murray's largest chapel and visitation area, a baby grand piano for live music, a children's room, and many other unique features, imes miller funeral home. He realized that third party assistance would allow these families the time and opportunity to properly mourn. On September 7, , John Imes opened a funeral home in the upstairs portion of his Almo general store. The Kentucky State Board, at its inception in , licensed Mr. Imes' commitment to respect, compassion, and family budgets is the same commitment that the Imes family holds today. The former name of that facility, Imes-Miller, refers to Thelma Miller, former matriarch of the business, who remained a part of it until her death at age 95 in The funeral home was reacquired by the Imes family in , when Kenny and Mary Beth Imes purchased the business. An offsite crematory was added to expand service options in In , Matt and his wife, Wendy, purchased the funeral home from his parents and now operate both the downtown Murray and the Heritage Chapel, across from Coldwater Rd.
