It is the perfect place to find Christmas gifts, while also supporting local businesses and organisations. The village will be reminded that the Christmas Market is about to open with a peel of bells from St Luke's Church at 2. Entertainment on the stage will start at 4pm with music from the Lions Youth Brass Band. We have on-stage performances from both Middlewich Road and Hermitage Primary Schools choirs, plus musical talent from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. A fairground area has been created on the car park behind Tesco with a choice of seven rides, hook-a-duck, plus a candy floss stall. Santa Claus will also be out on his sleigh to meet the children outside the entrance to Tesco.
