The Foremost Golf Club Buying Group has enjoyed a hugely successful launch, with several new partners and suppliers already on board. It was a natural progression for Foremost to look to use the skills it had learned over the last two decades, helping golf professionals to help their clubs.

These services which are offered are applicable to all projects of varied size, scope and complexity. They range from the remodeling of a portion of an existing course to the development of a complete new facility including all site amenities. Formost s broad background in the construction of golf facilities encompasses all types of designs, topography, soils and climatic conditions. Our expanded scope of experience from economic analysis through conceptual and detailed design along with construction and project administration, enables us to draw upon a wealth of problem solving techniques to provide a strong base of competence that accomplishes the desired results for our clients.

Can you begin by giving us a potted history of how Foremost Golf got started 30 years ago? Back in the early s a group of professionals from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire got together to form a buying group. It started out with 26 members operating out of a single room office in Burnham Beeches but now has almost 1, members all across the British Isles. We started out purely as a buying group but as the game has changed and the needs of our members have expanded we have diversified into a lot of different areas. We are still proud of our expertise in retailing but we have learned how to market ourselves much better and to harness the power of the internet in order to build our business. That has enabled us to set trends rather than follow them and it has helped our members to stay ahead of the competition. It would be no exaggeration to say we now offer our members support in every key area of their business lives.
