Realm teleportation should also give protection imo, I once teleport to Balheimr north and killed by a Basilisk AT INSTANT, luckily that was just testing where the teleport sent me while carrying nothing and no dino with me. IF you teleported in wearing ghili and having consumed cactus broth, you probably would not have been killed instantly.
