We are pleased to report that by judgment dated March 5, , Justice Chantal Lamarche of the Superior Court of Quebec granted the Application for authorization to institute a class action that we filed on behalf of all Quebec consumers who reserved a hotel, since January 10, , via Expedia. You can consult the Notice to Class Members authorized by the Court, as well as the Originating Application that we filed. The Trial on the merits of this class action is scheduled for June 6 to 16, at the Montreal Courthouse. The Originating Application alleges that the Defendants failed to comply with several rules of public order in the Consumer Protection Act and in the Regulation respecting travel agents , including those relating to misleading advertising and the duty to display a total price including hotel fees.
