Now for the explanation of only 4 stars; The box came in great shape, opening it was difficult, especially if you want to make sure that if there is something wrong you can return it. Contrary to not needing tools stated on the box, that is a LIE! The instructions are simple to understand. The metal can scratch when putting together, needing tools to "bang" in place should be listed in the instructions. Lastly is the quality control, If I didn't need the cage as fast as I did I would attempted to get the door panel replaced. I highly recommend spending the money or if you can get a deal on this do it, for the piece of mind and quality its worth it and you pet will love it too.

Great cage. This is a double critter nation set up and the assembly was easy overall, even with the bent parts. It comes with a Phillips head screw driver tool, if you have one of your own it might be more comfortable.

The ferret nation is a great product and so therefore we created another version of it but with different pets in mind. The design of the critter nation has many of the same benefits as they ferret nation but it has slightly closer mesh. The reason it has closer mesh is to prevent the smaller animals from escaping. The Midwest critter nation requires no tools to put it together and assembling the cage therefore is really easy!
