The former Regal Cinema in Issaquah has re-opened as a Cinebarre, a national chain which screens first-run movies, with dinner and drinks delivered right to your seat. The only other Cinebarre in the area is in Mountlake Terrace. The complex still has eight screens, but every other row of seats were removed to make room for counter style bars to set down your food and beverages. The seats are large and comfortable with cupholders. At Cinebarre you can order from your seat during your movie, then servers slip your food or drink in to you without disruption. Food offerings range from appetizers with movie themed names such as Goldfingers, which are breaded and fried chicken breast strips, to Forbidden Planet Chili. Pizzas are inch and include regular or gluten-free crust. The Bull Durham is pepperoni, Candadian bacon and sausage while the Braveheart is a vegetarian offering with goat cheese and roasted garlic. Heartier fare includes the Blue Velvet Burger, a hand-made patty with bleu cheese, served with all the fixings and fries.

The other Northwest location, just north of Seattle in Mountlake Terrace, has been in business since ; nice place to see a movie, drink wine and eat French fries all at the same time. If you go, do fill out the customer survey online and tell them what you think of the place. Cinebarre differs from Sundance Cinemas , the newly reopened multiplex in the University District, not so much in its offerings both offer first-run movies, casual food and a full bar as in its method of service: At Cinebarre, you can order from your seat during the movie, with discreet servers darting in to pick up and deliver your order; at Sundance, you order at a counter in the lobby and carry the food in yourself. Movie-wise, they show a lot of the same movies, but Sundance offers more variety, always booking a few arthouse releases.
