For those out there that have been looking for receivers like I have. The best news that I can attest to is that He converts the receiver for the bolt stop to "Correct " way and does not modify the bolt stop to work like some others do. He also can do this conversion to use standard M14 mags if the cost BM59 mags are a turn off for you. If I had an aluminum sand casting bench setup I could make the legs for the bipod using the existing legs I have as patterns. The BM59 Bipods Gas Cylinder attachment block, leg pivot screws, clamp and clamp screws are nothing special and I already have made the drawings to machine them.

Please contact your manufacturer to find it if it has been recalled. I also have some very slight variations in my machine work that are not visible to the naked eye. The important thing is that you will get a receiver that will look perfectly like a BM59 to the naked eye. Your BM59 kit can also be used to build the same looking rifle but using M14 Magazines. The BM59 I make you will have the authentic BM59 receiver configuration minus the full auto modifications and the stripper clip guide. They chose the 7. Italy, being a former Axis nation, was not overly affluent after the war. They chose to convert the M1s they had been supplied immediately post-war, rather than make whole new weapons, at least initially. Some unique features added to the BM59 were geared towards fighting in extremely cold weather. The Italians added a foldable winter trigger that can be used without the removal of heavy mittens and a bipod to make it easier to shoot while lying in the snow. Unfortunately, it was stolen along with a number of other firearms I had, and it has not been recovered to date. Fortunately, in the last few years, BM parts kits started becoming available in the US. I was excited to see this, as I could finally replace the rifle I lost.

Hello guys, been a while since I posted but am still around. I have been working on something that is intended to help people understand the BM59 and what it is. I am looking for feedback, suggestions, and any input with a degree of authority on the subject. This is an ongoing work, and I will be posting revisions as I have time. It will also be posted on a couple of other boards, in an attempt to gain as much feedback and information as possible, Please feel free to make a critical appraisal of what I am composing, all information is helpful. For some time I have been working on an information package that would clarify the misinformation that is generally disseminated. I am offering this here for any who would care to use it should you run into questions in the future. I will also be revising this from time to time, hopefully, to include specific information on different models and some other characteristics of the rifle.

I love Fed Ord's- no one else does. I told him it was a nice rifle and he thanked me, told me it was built off a Fed Ord M14 receiver, that he couldn't stand ruining a Garand, I tried to tell him to stick around, but I keep a commercial paratrooper. Answer- Of course you can, I can lathe your barrel off your receiver, face the receiver with a milling machine, right as rain. So its entirely possible. There are more BM59 options out there now than ever. The headspacing was visibly off to me, it jammed every few rounds SA. I have no trespassing signs all around the farm to cover my butt, in case someone gets hurt poaching or planting cannabis. They have blems with a hole under where the rear sight cover will go and what looks to be non-blems for the same price, with special instructions for ordering. After the end of the Second World War, the US government supplied the former axis nation of Italy a number of M1 rifles to help rebuild their army. A few years later, NATO standardized the 7. Initially, the Italians decided to convert their existing stockpiles of M1s to the new caliber and modernize them, rather than produce whole new weapons.
