This service was registered with CQC in July The provider is registered with CQC to deliver the Regulated Activities; diagnostic and screening procedures, maternity and midwifery services and treatment of disease, disorder or injury and surgical procedures. Benim Medical Centre, Penvalley Crescent, Liverpool is situated in a purpose-built medical centre shared with another practice in a deprived area of Liverpool. The practice has a higher number than average number of unemployed patients and higher than average number with a long-standing health condition. There is a team of one GP working alongside a number of salaried GPs at the time of inspection. Due to the enhanced infection prevention and control measures put in place since the pandemic and in line with the national guidance, most GP appointments were telephone consultations. If the GP needs to see a patient face-to-face then the patient is offered an appointment at the practice. Extended access is provided locally by Primary Care 24 Merseyside Limited where late evening and weekend appointments are available. Out of hours services are provided by Primary Care 24 Merseyside Limited also. We carried out an announced inspection at Benim Medical Centre on 14, 15 and 20 June

I am a General practitioner with special interest in minor surgical procedure and various joint injections. I have over 25 years of clinical experience working as a doctor in various countries such as India, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and England. I routinely perform various minor surgical proceduers and Corticosteroids Joint injections for all local GP Surgery's patients who are referred to me locally at my own surgery Benim Medical Centre and also at Garston Hospital Liverpool.
