I believe during the second or third level there was a red balloon thing that inflated you when you touched it. I'm not sure if the thing was supposed to be a powerup or a obstacle that you should avoid, but regardless you could inflate your self in the game more and more by pressing up on the d pad until you were spherical round, belly inflation games. Belly inflation games course its bit of a shame that the character in the game is male but the inflation is very good surprisingly, here are some screen shots I found.

That Diseagea thing isn't really worth it, it looks like she is smuggling torpedoes and just shoots them, the chibi style and the back view makes it pointless.
