Here you find an impressive, spacious and very elegant interior dining room, with panoramic windows opening up to amazing Victoria Harbour views. There is also a cocktail bar and two expansive outdoor terraces, offering even more vistas over the water, Hong Kong Island the Kowloon skyline. The Aqua restaurant serves a menu filled with Italian and Japanese cuisine as lunch, brunch and dinner, while the ultra-stylish bar offers perfectly crafted signature cocktails, premium spirits and a fine selection of wines.

Tables window-side provide ringside seats for some of the most spectacular views across Victoria Harbour at Aqua's smart new address and pave the way for food that hits all the quintessential Italian notes with some smart Japanese dishes, too. Decor by London designer Robert Angell Aqua Restaurant Group founder David Yeo is inspired by "reflections off water" while a mirrored catwalk — connecting bar, lounge and dining room — allows you to make an entrance. Other lunchtime favourites include a mix of yellowtail, scallop, tuna and salmon in Chef's selection of sashimi and sushi or cuttlefish ink risotto with Italian red prawns. Fans dub the food "insanely good". Italian-leaning wine list hits all the right notes if you want impressive: vintage Champagne from the top houses to Super Tuscans and Bordeaux icons. Not for the impecunious, mind, although there are cheaper entry points like Junmai sake for the adventurous or a glass of rustic, cherry-inflected Sangiovese. B, S and I had been meaning to organise a boozy brunch for some time. B had been to the Aqua brunch and she loved it, so we gathered the troops cross harbour to Kowloon! In fact, I think I have only been there a handful of times since moving to HK a year ago. But I was game for an afternoon of gluttony with good company and lots and lots of wine! The buffet works with an unlimited supply of appetizers, namely the Antipasto platter and the Sashimi platter.

According to tourists and diner reviews, this place is amazing and worth recommending to friends and family. Their service runs friendly and accommodating from the reception all the way to the waiter that help the customers choose the specialty of the house by suggesting must try in-house cuisines. Taking up the two-storey penthouse that previously housed aqua , this new Aqua Restaurant Group venture opened earlier this month with big shoes to fill. Read on for our first impression and thoughts on the sharing tasting menu. Low-lit at night, the lofty space stretches out left and right from the entrance, but the spotlighted window-facing tables feel cosy and intimate. To start, we were served the creamy Burrata with San Daniele ham and home-made tomato marmalade, tasty Pulled Pork Maritozzo Sandwiches topped with crispy cracking and chives, and the Sicilian Red Prawn Carpaccio with grated caviar and Bronte pistachio. All three cicchetti were a hit for us and primed our palates for the two flavoursome pasta dishes to follow. The Mezzo Maniche with spicy octopus ragu was pleasantly piquant, which contrasted the zestful and brackish Lobster and Lime Linguine. For our mains, we enjoyed the Grilled and Smoked Tomato and Ginger Marinated Half Chicken , which was theatrically presented in a smoke-filled wooden box, and Grilled Australian Rib-Eye with red wine jus. The portate principali were generously portioned and came with sides of truffle mashed potato and tomato salad, so be sure to come hungry for dinner! We had just enough room left to enjoy the Table Side Tiramisu and a delicious Strawberry Tart with White Chocolate Mousse , which gave a satisfying finish to our meal. Back Share.
