My Hero Academia has finally uncovered the terrifying origins of its diabolical antagonist All For One and it is darker than anything fans could have ever imagined. The series finally explores All For One's birth and early childhood and may be a harbinger of the darker tone the series may adopt going forward. Chapter of My Hero Academia reveals that All For One and his brother Yoichi were orphaned as infants as their mother passed away soon after giving birth to them, leaving the two to fend for themselves. The chapter is uncharacteristically graphic and gory as it goes on to discuss how both the mother's corpse and the twins were almost gnawed on by rats, adding to Yoichi and All For One's tragic origin story. While My Hero Academia has no shortage of tragic backstories and dark villain origin stories, the tragic circumstances accompanied by the eerily hyper-realistic art style of the chapter help his backstory stand out as one with a distinct tone, the likes of which the series has never displayed before. All For One's backstory is a true villain origin story in every sense of the word, which only gets all the more terrifying as the chapter progresses, as readers see kid AFO use the Quirk he stole from his mother to violently slaughter several soldiers.
My Hero Academia is nearing its end and the last few chapters have been focused on the incredible fight between Bakugo and All For One. Fans know All For One to be the biggest villain in the entirety of My Hero Academia and he's certainly an evil that needed to be taken down by the end of the story. Prior to the ongoing fight, it was All Might who stood in the path of All For One once again and he did this with help from Melissa. Using various mechanized upgrades, All Might did what little he could do to stop All For One from advancing and at the same time, force him to reverse his age. Eventually, however, this task fell to Bakugo and he has successfully completed it in the recent chapters of My Hero Academia, having now defeated All For One. He fought against Shigaraki quite effectively and this is where he achieved quirk awakening for the first time. Bakugo was fearless in this battle and, thanks to the support of those around him, he was able to hold his own against this mighty villain for quite a long time. His strength was such that he could even leave Shigaraki in the dust for a short period of time, however, his time was short-lived as he was injured gravely by Shigaraki after he was stabbed right through the chest. Bakugo could very well have died there. It was thanks to the effort from Best Jeanist and Edgeshot that he was successfully rescued.
