I'd say the XS wound strings are pretty similar to Optiwebs, but the treble strings definitely don't last as long as Elixirs, at least with my nuclear sweat. XT all the way for me! Tried both. Hanson Senior Stratmaster. I don't buy many of their sets but I ended up with enough points for a free set in fairly short order. No let down in tone for sure. XT last long, sound great and last very long time It was not there at all. But I'm still somewhat confused. So I don't know if the extra cost of the strings make any sense for me. Have you campared them to Elixir Optiwebs by any chance?
