Xfinity pixelation
Wednesday, April 5th, AM. For the past month or so, we've had problems xfinity pixelation experiencing pixelated, garbled pictures on several TV channels.
Thursday, January 26th, AM. Recently having pixelation issue on all tv channels. Local channels are worse but all tv channels have the issue. Both my dvr box and my non-dvr box have the issue. Boxes are in different rooms on different coax jacks.

Saturday, September 2nd, PM. I have checked connections. Reset the boxes. Changed the HDMI cord. This is not in all channels but it is consuming more channels every day. Pixelation happens when the signal for the channel you are trying to watch is too weak or has too much noise. Troubleshoot by checking all connectors for corrosion and tightness, and by looking for damaged coax cable. Running the cable through a surge protector, a defective splitter, or too many splitters can cause signal problems as well. If there is an amplifier in the line make sure it's getting power. Ask them to check the account setup and send a refresh signal to the box. If they can't fix the problem remotely, insist they send a tech out to identify the cause and correct it. If the tech finds bad coax, splitters, amplifiers, or connections in your home even if Comcast originally supplied them you'll probably have to pay for the visit approx. We have checked connections, had a reset signal sent to the box multiple times and done everything possible via the call In system with Xfinity. For a short time everything worked perfectly which makes me question just how it could be an internal home issue. Also, it is the same thing on two televisions.

Monday, July 17th, PM. We started having pixelation and audio issues on most channels a couple of months ago. After putting up with this for several weeks, we called xfinity and went through multiple resets, reboots, etc. Nothing has helped. An xfinity tech came to our house last week and disconnected several cables to rooms where w2e don't need them - this help for maybe a day or two. It is now back to frequent pixelation and bad audio that prevents viewing and enjoying any shows. I have read on this forum that this issue could be related to the xfinity "infrastructure" in our neighborhood or nearby.
Monday, December 4th, PM. I am getting pixelation on seemingly all channels and on all tv's in my house. An error message coded as XRE also appears. After that we might be okay for a second or minute or a day and we go through the same thing again. And of course it happens when we don't want it to! Any suggestions? Hello, Jdws
