Wrestlemania is the grandest spectacle in sports entertainment, and this year it lived up to the name. Night Two kept the energy going; some instant classics were put on tonight. However, what will be most talked about regarding Wrestlemania 39 will without question be the ending of the main event. Out of all singles matches on the Wrestlemania card, this one probably had the least amount of hype behind it. When the match was first announced, many fans assumed WWE was planning to swerve them and actually put on Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley. Instead, we got the match as promised. For the last few years, virtually every Brock Lesnar match has been the same; both men hit each other with finishing maneuvers and wrap things up within a few minutes.

Kayla thinks Drew McIntyre will win. We go backstage to Peter Rosenberg, who takes us to the Gorilla Position for a tour. Cathy Kelley is backstage with Paul Heyman now. We get a promo for Hell In a Cell tonight. Back from a break and we see highlights from Night 1. He believes Edge will win Hell In a Cell. We see Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes and their daughter step off the bus in the back, then walk into the stadium. We go to another break. Back from a break and we get a look at a bunch of Mattel WWE figures. Booker reminds us he has 30 figures of himself. We get a video for Brock Lesnar vs. Patrick is the only one who thinks Lesnar will win. Kayla then shows us a promo for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia next year.

It was a ton of fun, with Lesnar selling to put over Omos' power-based offense before taking advantage of an ill-fated charge into the corner and taking him to Suplex City. The Beast Incarnate could have easily pouted and sandbagged Omos, but he worked hard to put him over instead then eked out a win. For the second night in a row, WWE presented a WrestleMania Showcase match aimed at getting additional participants onto the show. It was fairly obvious who would win, but the match featured some solid work from the other three teams if nothing else. They were the ones who put in the work, doing the heavy lifting while showing off their skills. Unfortunately, the finish was as uninspired and lackluster as possible, with Rousey and Baszler popping up at the end after contributing next to nothing and stealing the win by way of an armbar from The Baddest Woman on the Planet on Shotzi. This was an OK match with a bad ending, and no clear direction for anyone outside of the victors makes this a creative disappointment, even if the effort was there from the competitors.
