It consists of snapping the pieces into each other and 4 screws! Oh and a few screws to put on the 2 steering wheels. Easy Peasy! I was so pleasantly surprised by this. Once assembled I fell in love with the look of it. The colors compliment each other so well and it really looks good in our backyard.
