Now that the PS4 is out the PS3 doesn't cost as much and has a catalog of games like Dragon's Dogma, Demon's Souls, Nier, Drakengard, and Red Dead Redemption for me to dive into and play for hopefully lower prices, however, it will soon stop getting games and really only be there for the older ones. The Wii U is starting to get some games, but not really that many are out that interest me, Bayonetta and Monster Hunter 3U are cool, maybe even Captain Toad, but the rest of the current releases not so much. It will, however, be likely to get more in the future and not just die once I play the ones I have, and is backwards compatible with Wii games so I have those to play too. Which system would you say is a better value in terms of games? Is the PS3 catalog good enough to warrant buying one even though there won't be new releases? The library of games for that system is fantastic. There are still games coming out for it too, Persona 5 and Yakuza 5 are both being released this year. I 'd go with PS3in a second. Then again Nintendo games have bored be for the past 15 years or so. The only promising game IMO is X and thats about a year out. Of those two I'd go with a PS3. It's got a couple really good exclusives and can play most of the console exclusives just fine.
