This is a little gem of a show — provided you do like low-key, slice-of-life things. I also liked that Show also takes time to focus on the friendships that our characters share. Feeling like the invisible sixth member of the friend group was definitely a highlight of my watch too, aside from the very cute and very sweet OTP stuff. Warm, sweet, comforting, and perfect for a binge on a rainy day — or as a drama nightcap, to put you in the right mind space for warm, sweet, comforting dreams. The reason this show came onto my radar, is because I came across folks talking about how viewers who struggle with the setup and story of Hidden Love review here! There were just lots of praises for this show for being sweet, slurpy, well-written and just pretty special, all-around.

Seeing that the Chinese New Year is about to come, Su's father was busy posting the window grilles to his grandma, and asked Su Zaizai to show it to him. Su's mother came over and asked Su Zaizai what he needed, and Su Zaizai was thinking about it. Next, she said that she needed a pair of shoes. Su's mother said that she had just bought this pair of shoes, and Su Zaizai said coquettishly about the new year's new atmosphere, and regarded it as a New Year's gift for herself. Su's mother couldn't bear to refuse her daughter's request, so she agreed. Su Zaizai immediately pouted to her father. Su's father came over knowingly and said that he needed a belt. Although Su's mother gave him a supercilious look, she still said to help him in a while. Su Zaizai was chatting with Zhang Lurang. Before the holiday, the two of them promised each other that they would communicate with each other through text messages, and they would reply whenever they sent.
