Residential care is designed to give residents independence whilst reducing the risks that come with living alone, safe in the knowledge that care teams are on hand to support where needed. It is a particularly good option for those who could benefit from a calm and relaxing setting, delicious nutritious meals and a little extra support with washing, dressing and other daily activities, whilst continuing to enjoy living life as you wish to. Residential care can provide a safe and homely setting for the long term, or indeed the relaxation and recuperation needed in the short term, perhaps following an operation.

Welcome to Westgate Healthcare Life is to be loved. She was not well enough to care for herself at home but, despite having only 24 hours notice, Riverdale accepted her for a 2-week temporary stay. In addition, my mother commented that staff were also efficient and reliable in responding to any requests she made.
