Those who struggle to walk far and choose to sit with a picnic in their car can no longer see the estuary and Welsh hills. Those who choose to sit on the roadside benches out of the rain can no longer see the marine lake, estuary, and Wales. The promenade surface, built we think, angled downwards to the water for the floodwaters to run off, is confusing for some, and possibly a 'fall' in waiting. All this financial madness and social sadness created for a flood that has happened once in half a century.
