Soon after moving to Jackson, she met the love of her life, Billy D. After leaving the telephone company, Marjorie had many years of public service with the City of Jackson, Jackson Jr. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was known for her love of gardening, shopping, and traveling with friends. She spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a faithful, longtime member of Skyline Church of Christ where she was involved in many different ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy D.
