I have been thrilled with the Pharmacy and staff at my local Walgreens. I am very disappointed that our insurance carrier has changed, so we walgreens on main and recker longer are able to get our prescriptions filled at I really like this Walgreens. I LOVE that it has been remodeled, is clean and layed out well.

My provider sent them a script last week which the pharmacy lost. They faxed over another copy Thursday morning and tried to call and confirm its arrival, but after spending an hour on hold the nurse wasn't able to talk to anyone. I went there in person to sort things out. I couldn't get the pharmacy tech or the pharmacist to call the provider. By their own admission they were "too busy" with "about two hours of work to do" before they could place a phone call to a provider for a waiting customer. We fill approximately seven prescriptions a month so if anyone has recommendations for a pharmacy, I'm all ears. Business and Organizations. The store in the former Noel State Bank building, N. Milwaukee Ave. Staff was told about the closure at a meeting earlier this week, said an employee who did not want to be named. I am glad we did because I am not sure if I would have seen it otherwise. We are not here for personal needs. Since the building is part of the landmarked Milwaukee Avenue District, the city will require future owners to preserve its historical features. I cannot imagine it being anything else. I have gotten sick so many times since I moved here, and they always have everything I need. An employee who asked to remain anonymous said the company told staff it plans to relocate workers to other Walgreens.
