Obtaining the weapon is gated by the following check points: 1. MR lock out of 8 2. Granum Void Normal and Exemplar C rotations So with the base information of the weapon as of this moment , what is the issue? To put it bluntly the only reason why the weapon has comparable DPS to it's brothers in the same MR bracket not counting Primes, Wraiths and other variants is the fire rate, magazine and comparably higher accuracy. It looks like the epitome of "hey but it is better than AFuris and AkSomati", but this is only on paper. The real situation is, that Velox requires a lot more user progression than MR 8 in order to attain without platinum, yet it has arguably the worst secondary scaling for the MR bracket. The higher than normal ammo efficiency is offset by the fire rate. The accuracy is offset by the extremely shaky recoil. The special effect while "new" provides nothing in performance of the weapon, since the bottom line is that emptying a clip in order to have normal reload time is really bad idea if you are new and aspiring player. How to fix the Donut weapon? A good idea would be to detach it from Granum Void. This weapon, with normal crafting cost would be a lot more feasible for new and old players and will lower the perceived value of it.
