This rolling release is for users interested in developing for, and experimenting with, the absolute latest version of the UC San Diego Webreg mobile web application. Rolling releases are not subject to the rigorous testing of the regular production release. Many things may and probably are only partially complete and are likely broken. If your feature or enhancement is selected as a possible release candidate, due to its sheer awesomeness or immediate need, it will go through an additional vetting process. Who knows? Your idea could be included in the next production release and help students navigate their UC San Diego experience for many classes to come. And give you a nice feather in your cap to show potential employers.

Access to WebReg is limited to currently enrolled students and only during specific enrollment windows. You can use UCSD WebReg to load courses into their planner, register for classes, drop classes, view their schedule and appointment time, and find books and textbooks to buy or rent for registered courses. Each term has specific dates when students can plan, enroll or drop classes. Depending on these dates, Term messages will appear on this page. Once your appointment time is available you can also enroll directly using the search feature if the course has available seats. On your assigned enrollment day, enroll in classes any time after your appointment. Choose your registration term and student level.

Following are brief descriptions and links to additional information regarding enrollment and registration. Prior to the quarter for which they have been admitted, new students will receive information from their college regarding orientation dates, course enrollment, and fee-payment deadlines. New first-year students admitted for the fall quarter will be invited to attend a new student orientation during the summer preceding fall quarter. Continuing students those currently registered or eligible to register should refer to TritonLink for enrollment information, dates, and fee payment instructions. Students are considered enrolled when they have requested space in at least one course and space in classes has been reserved. Students are not considered registered until they have both enrolled in courses and paid registration fees. Waitlisting a class does not constitute enrollment. Enrollment is processed using WebReg in TritonLink. Continuing undergraduate students are assigned a start time, after which they may enroll in classes. Start times are based on the number of units completed.

Students are able to plan courses, add courses, and waitlist courses using this system up until the end of the 2nd week of the quarter. If an instructor plans to have homework or other assignments due during the first two weeks of the course, they may want to make provisions in their syllabus for students who add after an assignment is due. WebReg enforces prerequisites as listed in the General Catalog course descriptions. Any student who does not have the prerequisite for a course cannot enroll using WebReg unless they are given authorization by the instructor to waive the prerequisite. If a course is full, students may add themselves to the waitlist.
