I cannot find my user's manual for the treadmill. I've pretty well pushed every button a few times and nothing happens.

You can go on it whenever you like as opposed to a gym. You can have a TV on or the sounds of your choosing. The only problem is if it goes wrong. At a gym, they can handle it. At home, you have to deal with it. Try turning off the treadmill and then turning it back on. These are obvious but worth trying.

When I try to swing the deck upward, it swings up for a few degrees and then it catches on something and will not go up any further unless you use it as a lever to tilt the machine to its front, which I do not want to do. I do NOT see anything underneath the machine that might be stopping it from working. I normally leave the deck down, but I have raised it in the past and seen that working.
