Thragg
When it comes to the Invincible series, there are few enemies quite as terrifying as the Grand Regent of the Viltrumites, Thragg. Acting as the true antagonist of the series, Thragg poses one of the most significant threats the heroes of Invincible face. On the contrary, the two men have one of the most brutal battles in the entire series. Exactly what Thragg does and who he brutalizes across the series may be a mystery to some, but in due time, fans of the Invincible series will know exactly how dangerous he can be. There are plenty of great moments from Thragg that sum up his character well, but one of the best comes from his own thoughts:. Thragg is the unopposed leader of the Viltrumites, and easily the most powerful of all of their people. He was quite literally born with the intention for him to be the strongest of their people, and he lived up to that in a hurry. After ending a Viltrumite civil war, Thragg would claim the role of Grand Regent of the Viltrumites and begin his search for the heir to the king he had killed. Believing that the heir to the king had likely died at some point during the destruction caused by the Scourge Virus , Thragg eased into his unopposed rule, not knowing that both Omni-Man and Invincible were out there to one day oppose him. After leading a war that put him at odds with Omni-Man and Invincible, Thragg would eventually learn that Omni-Man was the heir he had been searching for. Eventually, Thragg would rise up once again to challenge Invincible and Omni-Man, killing anyone and everyone who would dare to stand in his way. Like Omni-Man and Invincible, Thragg has the benefits of having Viltrumite heritage, giving him plenty of incredible powers. With the ability to fly, immense strength and speed, and being able to survive on an outer space adventure , Thragg is a dangerous enemy. Thragg was even capable of killing the seemingly unbeatable Battle Beast in a fight while seriously injured though Battle Beast had wounded himself to make the fight fair. He also handed Invincible and Omni-Man their own butts on numerous occasions, literally ripping each of them in half at different points in the story.

Thragg
Thragg was born on Viltrum as the son of one of the closest advisors of Emperor Argall. He was trained in all manners of combat and bred to be the strongest Viltrumite. After the battle, the Viltrumites would emerge an unbeatable race led by him. Thragg would be granted the title of Grand Regent, tasked with finding the heir of Argall. He would keep Argall's skull as a reminder of what would happen were the Empire to fall into disarray. The Scourge Virus would be created and planet's population severely depleted and would make him believe that the heir had died. Afterwards, he would cease all attempts to find the heir, feeling that he had earned his place among them [2]. After Conquest failed to kill Mark , he had to face Thragg.
