Having eaten here for dinner previously and been very impressed, we decided that trying their yum cha seemed like a very sensible idea. After all, yum cha is on their actual name. We were right! We started with these delicious mushroom dumplings. The green wrappers really stood out but the filling was even more impressive. It was a really bold mushroom flavour that surprised us in a good way. We loved these.

All good, nice yum cha, enjoyed the food and service. COVID safe. Excellent yumcha! Worth a visit but can be busy in the weekend. The food just as same as the photos.
Decoration is special, food is great and wonderful. There are advantages to ordering from a menu as often when it comes around on a trolley it isn't as crisp as it has been deep fried some time prior.
You'll find the usual yum cha classics in an unusually gorgeous setting. Is it worth the wait? Find out how you can avoid the 1. There was an intense back and forth between Laura and I about the time in which to go to Panda Yum cha. Stuffed eggplant: Prawn mince is overcooked, and the eggplant is overcooked too. Also I would expect the noodles and rice would be served at the end with other dishes such as pork ribs and broccoli but they were served first. We were right! Yum good as well. Do you usually stick to dumplings at yum cha or do you order the bigger dinner style items? Staff were attentive and friendly. Add Comment Your email is never published nor shared. The panda buns were ordered more for the look. The seafood dumplings are fine although they're quite fishy in flavour so I don't have more than a bite of these. The green wrappers really stood out but the filling was even more impressive. Good ambience and service. Service is efficient if not overly friendly but hey it's a Chinese restaurant during yum cha hour so it is what it is. These are my favourite dumplings - I adore the sticky mochi type texture and they're so crisp on the outside as they're fried fresh. I wish we had asked for these to be put in the oven to warm them up.
