The choice of meats, vegetables, and side sauces, etc. There is ample parking and with the added option for delivery, or order and pickup which are to the same high standard its well worth a visit. Absolutely stunning food. Staff are really attentive and friendly. It's always great. Just had a Christmas party of 25 of us on the 23rd Dec. Nice big restaurant with loads of seating. We called in for an early meal on the way to the theatre. Ordering works on a pick a table, note the number and order In fact all of the staff at the bar were great and really made you feel welcome. The starters were lovely, I had the chicken wings with a piri piri dip and hubby had the pate - he'd have liked more toast with it as there was a lot of pate. I couldn't believe how many wings you got as a starter, I was expecting maybe half a dozen but received twice that. The carvery was great, three different meats to choose from plus loads of choices of veg. I had turkey, cranberry and orange potaotes, roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, leeks, broccoli and minted green beans. The veg was a bit more cooked than I would do at home but still had texture and flavour. The cakes we had for dessert were enormous, really didn't stand any chance of finishing them but the lovely waitress Mel fetched us plastic boxes so we could take the left overs home.
