The restaurant was extremely clean. Alyssa was our waitress and we couldn't have asked for better service. I had the best steak I've ever had. Their Mac and Cheese was delicious. The Cole Slaw was very good. I would really recommend this restaurant. June Great pulled pork sandwich, smoked right in front of the restaurant.

We had lunch at the Anvil and were pleased with our visit there. There is ample parking and seating is available both inside and outside. Our party of four chose the outside option as it was a nice day. We were greeted immediately and offered There was a beverage menu as well as a daily lunch menu. The menus were varied and each of us could find multiple items that interested us.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for 3 nights whilst doing some sightseeing around Dorset. The property itself was beautiful and the surrounding village had some stunning walking trails through local farmlands. It's easy to get to the tourist hotspots by car and because The food was great - all fresh and locally sourced where possible and there was plenty to choose from to accommodate most tastes. Staff were friendly and always eager to help - very attentive. The room was functional, clean and had a degree of charm with its old wooden beams. If you're after luxury, then probably skip this but it was perfectly acceptable for what we needed.
